- Attend an Open House.
This is an opportunity for adults to visit the school in order to see Tidewater at every grade level. There will be a brief introduction to the school before a tour of the classrooms and a chance to ask questions. You may request an application at this time. Please call our office at (410) 257-0533 to reserve a space at an upcoming Open House.
- Visit the School with your child.
Following the parent visit to the school, an appointment with the teacher will be scheduled. At this time, your child will visit the classroom and interact with the teacher. The visit may be scheduled during the class time or after hours, depending upon what is deemed most respectful for the child.
- Complete and return the application with the non-refundable annual enrollment fee.

- Acceptance Letter and Contract.
You will receive written notice regarding your child’s acceptance into The Tidewater School along with a contract for enrollment. Your child’s space in the class is guaranteed when the signed contract is returned by the date indicated on the contract. The first tuition payment is due in June.
- Return Health Forms and all other documents prior to enrollment.
You will receive a packet of information and forms. The State of Maryland requires ALL health forms to be on file within the school prior to the entrance date. The deadline for all forms for fall enrollment is August 15th.
