It is very important that children be on time for school.

Arrival for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten is between 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.  PK and K children are greeted at your car by the staff and assisted out of their seatbelts and the car. They are personally escorted into the classroom and guided to begin their daily routines. We request that this time be used for a pleasant parting and not a conference time between you and the staff. The staff's primary responsibility at that time is safety and if one is distracted in conversation, a child might be hurt. Conferences can be scheduled before or after school as needed.  If your child is distressed initially, please have confidence and trust in us. Allow us time to build trust with your child and to soothe the feelings during the transition. The initial fuss is often over before you exit our drive.

At dismissal, we will again personally escort your PK or K child back to your car. It may take us a few minutes but please refrain from coming into the classroom.

Arrival for Elementary is between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.  Elementary students are greeted at the car just outside of the lower level entrance.  To foster independence and responsibility, they are encouraged to enter the coatroom entrance on their own.

All parents are asked to drive with caution. Please make every effort to time your arrival during these windows as lessons need to begin on time. This is especially important in the elementary classroom. Attendance records of elementary age children will reflect not only attendance but punctuality.

Dismissal times are:
      Noon for PK

      3 PM for K

      3:15 for Elementary.
