The Tidewater School celebrates each child's birthday as it falls during the school year. In PK and K, the children celebrate an "un birthday" on their half year mark if their special day occurs over the summer.

Many families have parties outside of school and have sent invitations to school to be distributed.  If you are inviting everyone from your child's class, we will be happy to distribute the invitations at the end of the school day.  We do not distribute invitations for a select number of students.  We do not imply that every child should be invited.  Instead, we recognize that a select distribution can upset the balance of feelings in our small classes and respect your wish to invite who you like.
