An annual enrollment fee of $300.00 for Pre-K and $500.00 for Kindergarten and Elementary students is due at the time of application.  This fee is non-refundable and is in addition to the total tuition.  Exception:  If space is not available, the enrollment fee will be returned.

Tuition is set at the following rate for 2009-2010.

Please note that tuition is all inclusive -there are no additional fees for students for field trips or special classes/visitors.

Kindergarten         $9,820.00

 (9 am - 3 pm)
Elementary         $10,660.00

 (8:30 am - 3:15 pm)

• A payment of $500.00 (PK) or $1,000.00 (K, Elem.) is due on June 1st 
• A payment of $500.00 (PK) or $1,000.00  

              (K, Elem.) is due on July 1st. 

• Following this, the parents may pay off the balance, pay in two equal installments, or pay in 9 monthly increments, due August 1st through April 1st. If paid in installments, the total tuition will exceed the amount shown above.

Please note: Families enrolling more than one child at The Tidewater School will receive a 10% discount applied to the contract of the younger sibling. When enrolling a third sibling, the youngest child will receive a tuition waiver, paying only the enrollment fee and the activity fee, as long as all three siblings are enrolled at the same time.

Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 handling fee.

There is a $25.00 late fee for past due payments.
Accounts whereby two checks have been returned for any reason, must be paid with a cashiers check or registered bank check.

Tuition may be either mailed to the PO Box 755, Huntingtown, MD 20639 post office address or hand delivered to the school. All hand delivered checks must be placed in an envelope marked on the outside with the child's name and the word Tuition. This is very important. The staff will not accept any money that is not placed in a sealed and marked envelope. As we grow, numerous papers come to school for sharing and the checks can easily get "caught" or lost between papers. Your assistance with this will allow us to continue to accept checks this way.
