As a nonprofit corporation and small facility, The Tidewater School is dependent upon the support of parents in many ways. There are opportunities to assist in the classroom and many other additional ways to support the school. At the beginning of each school year, the staff with the assistance of previous parents and the Board make a detailed list of ways in which parents make a difference. Every family is urged to sign up for at least one area of support work.

Volunteers are needed for many of our Tidewater Traditions, some of which include Pumpkin Patch Day, Thanksgiving Feast, Hospice Tree, World Tours, Egg Hunt, Clover Buds and 4-H, and seasonal holiday celebrations - Day of the Dead, Hanukkah, Divali, Christmas and others.
