The Tidewater School follows the school closing decisions of the Calvert County Public Schools.

Please listen to the local radio station for early

morning decisions.

• If school is one hour late, all Tidewater children will come to school one hour later (10 AM).
• If school starts two hours late, kindergarten and elementary children come to school two hours later (11 AM).
• There will be no PK when school opens two hours late.

In the event of an early closing announcement, please come to school as soon as you safely can.  If the weather is of such a concern, parents will be called by phone and/or notified by email.
