The personal attention and strong educational foundation enjoyed by Tidewater students would not be possible without the generosity of our friends, parents, grandparents and alumni. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Tidewater education. Financial gifts allow students to have access to the best possible teachers and programs. Because we are an intentionally small school with a small but loyal following, every gift to the Circle of Friends counts. Making Tidewater a philanthropic priority is vital to the long and short-term stability of our school. Donations to the annual fund are tax-deductible.
Here are a few examples of how Circle of Friends gifts have been used:
- Purchased a new roof for the building
- Purchased new KOMPAN playground equipment
- Purchased new furniture for classrooms
- Updated technology in the elementary classrooms
- Purchased new garden beds and cold frames for our classrooms
- Provided matching funds for an arts grant (Half-day Primary through 5th grade)
- Funded continuing education for all of our staff
Your donation directly supports Tidewater’s children and their teachers, strengthens the academic program and makes possible the incredible learning environment that is Tidewater.
